Party cocktail

Thirsty? I've got lill' something for ya.

Honestly, I am kinda not happy with the final render. The author, unfortunately, hasn't included lighting into the tutorial, so I had to experiment for quite a while. Still, I could not properly highlight the liquid to make it look "tasty".

In the end I cheated: I downloaded the blender scene attached to the lesson and looked into. Then I tried to re-create the same light setup and render settings.

I got better results, yet I am still unhappy. I guess, this is where years of experience should have kicked in, but I simply don't possess this knowledge. Yet.
